Eligibility Criteria

If you’re wondering whether you qualify for a free tablet through government programs, the requirements are straightforward. Our program partners follow federal guidelines to ensure that only eligible households receive these benefits.

Program-Based Eligibility

You may qualify if you or someone in your household is enrolled in one or more of the following approved programs:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid or Medi-Cal
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension Benefits
  • Lifeline Program
  • Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
  • Tribal Assistance Programs (TANF, BIA, etc.)
  • Free or Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • Federal Pell Grant (current award year)

Income-Based Eligibility

If you’re not part of any of the above programs, you may still qualify based on your income. Households with an annual income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines can apply.

How to Check Your Eligibility

Have proof of participation in a qualifying program or documents showing your household income. This helps speed up the approval process so you can get your tablet sooner.
